Charles Oswald participated in Alma College's annual Kapp Honors Day

2017 Apr 13

Nearly 120 Alma College students participated in Alma College's 21st annual Kapp Honors Day program on Thursday, April 6, 2017. This day provides a forum when traditional classes are canceled and students share their original research, creativiity and talents with an audience of their peers.

In sessions spanning nearly eight hours, students perform in dance productions, give oral presentations of scholarly research, and lead poster discussions. With a multitude of the student body participating, other students are encouraged to attend as many presentations as possible both to support their fellow students and to learn from them.

Charles Oswald of St. Louis, MI presented "(1) Do Liberals and Conservatives Speak Different Languages? A Neo-Wittgensteinian Understanding of Sociopolitical Discourse; (2) Consciousness and Subjectivity." He is majoring in Philosophy at Alma College.
