Mika Obrecht receives funding for Venture opportunity

Alma College students have the opportunity to participate and receive funds to offset the cost of an Alma Venture - a hands-on experience that takes the theory of the classroom into a practical setting. Ventures might be an internship, hands-on research, study abroad, clinical project or service.

Mika Obrecht of Howell, MI received an Alma Venture in spring 2016 described as: "Medical Ethnobotany of the Amazon," San Jose de Payamino, Ecuador.
