Alma College students have the opportunity to participate and receive funds to offset the cost of an Alma Venture - a hands-on experience that takes the theory of the classroom into a practical setting. Ventures might be an internship, hands-on research, study abroad, clinical project or service.

Samantha Kulhanek of Shelby Township, MI received an Alma Venture in spring 2015, described as: "Leadership in the Law of War, Conflict Resolution and Human Rights," France, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Switzerland.
